There is an article in the March MODEL RAILROADER which discusses the
application of VR to model railroading, combining VR and Telepresence.

It's not a complex article, more of "Here's what you might be able to do
sometime soon" article. If for nothing else, it has good entertainment value,
and shows a "possible market" for low end (i.e. cheap) VR.

Basically, the idea put forth is to overlay VR generated animation and sound
on top of video picked up by a camera within the loco. (We (railroaders)
already have a b/w video system which transmits via the rails!) The user
runs the train from a virtual cab.

Oh I like MUMPS, everything's a string. Oh I like MUMPS, math's done wrong.
Oh I like MUMPS, DATA as CODE as DATA as CODE as... is a lot of fun.
Oh I like MUMPS, passing an indirect variable reference as a parameter is ok.
