Does anyone know of any languages used to describe a virtual reality? 
What I'm thinking in terms of is a script which can be written in some
language which can be parsed to describe such things as where and what
type of objects exist in a virtual reality.  I am not talking about 'C'
or Pascal, but a language developed specifically to describe a virtual
reality.  I will gladly post a summary of responses.  Thanks.
