The Second International Conference on Artificial Reality and
Tele-Existence (ICAT) will be held on July 1-3,1992.  The Meeting will
provide a forum for update on recent progress and future trends in the
applications of Artificial Reality and Tele-Existence.

<Instructions to Authors>

  <Papers>
   The Program Committee invites authors to submit five copies of a
  review package consisting of a title page and paper. The submission
  may be an extended summary or a full paper in English. Clearly describe the
  nature of the work, explain its significance, highlight novel
  features, and describe its current status. Submitted papers (not
  exceeding 5,000 words,i.e. approximately 14 pages in A4 camera-ready
  form) should reach the Secretariat of ICAT'92 at the address given
  below before March 31, 1992.

  Submitted papers should include a cover page giving : 

  *the title of the paper and the author's name
  *the author's address, phone number, 
                   fax number and e-mail address
  *a 10-line abstract together with a list of key words
  *an indication of the categories the submitted paper should be included

  <Videotapes>
   The Program Committee invites authors to submit videotapes
  relating to the conference topics. Accepted video tapes will be shown
  throughout the conference. The author will also have an opportunity to
  give an oral presentation at the conference.  Submit a single
  copy of video tape with the cover page same as paper submission
  cover page.

<Important dates>
   All papers and video received will be refereed by the Program
  Committee. Each paper will be reviewed by at least three
  independent referees. Authors will receive the committee's decision
  from April 30, 1992. Accepted papers will be published in the
  proceedings to be distributed to the participants at the conference.

  *Papers and video due:	March 31, 1992
  *Acceptance notification: 	April 30, 1992
  *Camera-ready copy due:	May   31, 1992

<Exhibition>
   The conference will host a fair of commercially available products
  including software and hardware tools relating to the conference theme
  and applications relating to sectorial areas. In addition. advanced
  prototypes of tools and applications developed by research
  organizations will be demonstrated.

<Languages>
   English and Japanese will be the official working Languages. 
  Simultaneous translation will be provided.
