Has anyone heard of the new product that can read electrical fields
from your finger that are produced by thought? This gives people the
ability of, for example thinking of going left, and the computer would
understand this as a command to go left. Imagine navigating in
Virtual Reality with this product, just think of going towards an
object and presto you're flying towards it. There are more
possiblities for this product that I can imagine. The next
installment in software is supposed to allow you to create music, just
by thinking of it (Personally I'll beleive this part when I see it, or
maybe think it). Check the CNN page on the WWW for more information
on the product, it is under the title of MIND DRIVE on thursday August
3. I also found out more info on the products company. The founder
is the ex-CEO of Atari, Ron Gordon. He started this company (The
Other 90 Percent) just for this product. It will cost between
$100-200, depending on how much software you want, and is coming out
in January of 96. Also for all of you neuroscience people out there
it does not work by using the old school technologies of Galvonic Skin
Response and EEG, they won't be specific on how it works, other than
saying it uses complex algorithms.

If anyone has more info please post it.
