One item of note is the Lunar Tele-operations Model 1 button on the home page. Selecting that option will give some information on the model lunar rover exhibit which has now been running for 2 years. Now that the web site is up, it is easy to ftp the software necessary for driving the rover model on the moon base diorama and receiving live video from it. LTM1 is a model moon base colony in an 8 x 15 foot room with a model rover vehicle with TV camera on top. Using the free software, it is possible to dial up the rover via modem and get 5 frames/second video while driving the rover using the cursor (arrow) keys. David H.
