Forte Technologies Opens World Wide Web Site
Virtual Reality Comes to the Web at www.fortevr.com

ROCHESTER, New York, December 11, 1995 - Forte Technologies
Inc., manufacturer of the premier VFX1 HEADGEAR(tm) Virtual Reality
System, today announced the opening of its new World Wide Web site at
www.fortevr.com.

"The opening of our World Wide Web page further demonstrates
Forte's commitment to providing superior products and support," said Paul
Travers, president of Forte Technologies. "Consumers will be able to
receive technical support, obtain product information, conduct research
and gain valuable insights regarding these new emerging technologies and
products."

In designing its web site, Forte has created a springboard to a
multitude of virtual reality, retail and computer gaming sites containing
general information, educational studies and reports, retail information
and computer games. In addition to traditional product and technical
information, Forte's World Wide Web site provides hundreds of links to
other locations, including publications, software developers, VRML
documents, and VR news groups.

Links have been structured to make FTP and downloading of
shareware and public domain software as easy as possible. Users can send
e-mail to Forte as well as download the newest software, games and VR
applications that are compatible with Forte's VR hardware products.

In all, there are more than 200 outside links incorporated into
the web site. Of particular importance to computer gamers are the
available links to more than 40 computer game companies, and the "Game
Hints" section where users can either view or download "cheats" and tricks
to master the hottest computer games.

The VFX1 HEADGEAR, available for less than $1,000 at selected
retail outlets nationwide, including Incredible Universe, Tiger Software
and CompUSA, enables PC computer users to experience true virtual reality
with their favorite computer games and applications. Lightweight and
comfortable, the VFX1 HEADGEAR is "immersive", engaging the senses of
sight, sound and touch, and includes Forte's CyberPuck(tm) hand-held
controller for additional interactive VR control. These features
distinguish the VFX1 HEADGEAR from a simple head-mounted display unit. It
has been described by the news media and consumers as the premier virtual
reality computer peripheral available, and Forte worked hard to make sure
its web site lives up to that standard.

"We wanted to ensure our web page would satisfy the needs of all
VR, Internet and computer game enthusiasts across the board", said Pete
Matthews, Forte's vice-president of marketing. "We wanted to give users
access to the exciting new world of virtual reality and computer gaming
from one central location."

In addition to the new World Wide Web site, Forte Technologies
also maintains active forums on major online services, including America
Online(r)(keyword: FORTE) and CompuServe(r) (GO FORTE).

Based in Rochester, New York, Forte Technologies Inc., designs,
manufactures and markets virtual reality hardware for the personal
computer markets, making high-tech affordable to consumers.
