This MTS will work on development of a high-performance imaging library and associated applications. This is essentially an operating system position with an application area of image processing. No prior image processing experience is required. This position requires a solid understanding of hardware architectures for graphics, operating system background, symmetric multiprocessing, multiprogramming, scheduling, and cache management. Demonstrated ability to optimize and tune for performance, good systems programming skills including disk I/O and memory management. 2 or more years professional programming experience in C or C++. BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science. Strong communication skills, self-starter, ability to work in a small team.
