SIDOR) I'm doing an undergrad research project in Human Factors here at the Air Force Academy and am using an HMD made by a company called Virtual Research. I've encountered a problem with their HMD (model serial #118LM). The LCD for the left eye keeps going out; when I toggle the HMD's ON/OFF switch, it comes back on, but only for a few moments. I've tried contacting the company at a number I had for them in Sunnyvale, CA but the number is no longer in service. Does anybody know what happened to this outfit? Did they merge with another, go bankrupt, etc? Has anybody used their equipment and encountered this problem? Before I start taking this thing apart, I'd like some guidance to know what I should be looking for. -Greg Sidor
