This product manager will work with software developers, many in the CAD industry, whose applications utilize Performer. The product manager will be the primary liaison between these customers and SGI engineering teams developing new features and functions for Performer based on developers' needs. Responsibilities will include providing support to user groups, coordinating appropriate demos for trade shows, and participating in the formulation of press releases. This position requires a BS/BA in marketing or an appropriate technical field, or equivalent, plus 5 or more years experience in product management and marketing functions within a graphics-oriented company. An engineering background would be very helpful. The position requires a solid technical understanding of high-performance rendering and real-time graphics.
