The major difference between VR and real life as far as imagery is
concerned is that when we view in VR, we may recreate and therefore
view things which have the same vergence (i.e. binocular stereo)
distance as they do in real life, but they are at the same
accommodative (i.e.  monocularfocus) distance. Even with the magic of
VR, they still haven't been able to solve that one yet.
