Yes, it was on display at the local Blockbuster.  It uses one of those
resonant-scanning-mirror/red LED column "private eye" displays, well,
actually two of them (one for each eye).  I guess I left my glasses on
when trying it... I didn't even think about that until now so I guess
they weren't in the way.  :-) The resolution was no better than a
conventional Game Boy, and red monochrome besides, but it certainly
did look like 3D.  They had it running the tennis game that comes with
the machine.  The 3d-ness was the only improvement at all over the
Game Boy IMO.  But at $180 one can't complain too much!
