             GViz 96 Call For Papers
     Richland, Washington  --  April 18, 1996

The Executive Committee of the Tri-Cities ACM SIGGRAPH unit
is calling for papers to be presented at the Graphics and
Visualization (GViz) 96 Conference.  The conference will
support information exchange by hosting both a Vendor Show
and Technical Papers Presentation Session.  Papers should
address the research interests of the Hanford area including
environmental restoration, waste and remediation, molecular
science, and chemistry applications.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- animation and simulation
- multimedia
- finite element analysis
- GIS
- graphical user interfaces
- image processing
- scientific visualization
- rendering
- virtual reality

ABSTRACTS:
For papers to be considered, submit the following information
prior to December 1, 1995:
- full name and affiliation as you wish it to appear
- address (physical or electronic) of all authors (specify primary=
 contact)
- title of paper
- abstract (100 word limit)
- audio/visual presentation requirements (we can accommodate basic=
 A/V needs)

PAPERS:
Authors of accepted papers will be notified by December 15, 1995.

The Technical Papers session schedule will be published by January 5, 1996.

Accepted papers, ready for publication , will be required by
January 26, 1996.  Papers must be 12 pages maximum including
abstract, figures, and references.  Minimum formatting
requirements are:  2 columns, 1-inch margins, no page
numberings, 12 point times font.  Papers will be reproduced
in a Conference Proceedings in black and white, use no color
material please.  Presenters will be given thirty minutes
for both presentation of papers and a question and answer session.
