Steve, Liquid Image has been producing monoscopic, or biocular, HMDs
for three years now. The closest we have been able to come to meeting
your type of specifications is 768x556 pixels over an 84 degree HFoV.
Once you start to "stretch" these pixels over a wider FoV, say 120
degrees, as Marc said above, the perceived resolution will be quite
