Are you an expert in any specific field or topic? If so, I'd like to
enlist your aid (and a little bit of your time) to help make the
Internet a positive experience for school-aged kids around the world.

There has been a lot of negative publicity lately about the unsavory
content on the Internet, and its impact on underaged students. In an
attempt to counter this type of e-traffic, I've set up a website
called CyberPals which is an attempt to establish an e-mail based
mentoring program between experts on any topics (academic, industry
and leisure) and children in the English speaking world.

At this point, I need to get potential mentors to register with the
program in order to build a decent directory of experts before I can
open the doors to

the students.

I am making every attempt to minimize the time it would take for any
who sign up and don't expect that any one expert would get more than a
few queries per month. If you have a passion for your field, why not
help share that enthusiasm with young people?

If you would be willing to answer email questions from curious kids on your
favorite topics, here's how you can get involved:

1) Go to the website (www.o-canada.com) and visit the CyberPals page.

OR

2) Send me email (webmaster@o-canada.com) containing:
        - a list of the topics that you feel qualified to handle
        - your email address
        - a brief biography about yourself as relates to your
qualifications or experience in the topic areas you've listed

Thanks very much for your time.
