I would like to find out if people in the New York City area
are interested in forming a new group that meets monthly in the
evening on the subject of Scientific Visualization?

The monthly meetings would consist of lectures, software
product demonstrations, tutorials, etc.

Scientific Visualization encompasses a wide field of using
computers to graphically and visually display a wide range of
scientific phenomenon, such as 3D CAT Scan/MRI medical images, 3D
dynamic weather models, 3D pharmaceutical molecules, 3D images of
Magnetic fields, etc.

The meetings would be for all who are interested in this
exciting field including both professional and non-technical people.

I will need help in both finding a location for the meetings
as well as people and companies interested in participating.

Looking forward to hearing from people also interested in this
subject who would like to help me form this group.
