========================================================
Official launch of the AmberGL C++ discussion group
========================================================

        For those of you who are interested, I have put up a
discussion group about the AmberGL VR C++ toolkit on the IRC (internet
relay chat). In order to get people there here is the best agenda I
could come up with:

Monday and Tuesday evenings
rendez-vous time: 7pm US eastern time

I will be there at 7pm these two nights and stay there as long as there is
people present.

To join, get a IRC client such as mIRC for Windows or Netscape
Chat(see instructions on our VR site VResources for this one), then
connect to a EFnet server (this is the standard one so you should be
able to connect as you get a IRC client). Join the channel
#AmberGL. Normally, you type /join #AmberGL at the client's command
prompt.

This mesure is temporary. I have other plans to make this discution
group even better and more user friendly to use. I'll keep you all
updated.

If you are currently using AmberGL (or the 3DR version for that
mather), the IRC channel I talked about is the place to be. We'll talk
about bugs and design tips that may be useful. Lots of great things to
come. I will build up a sort off FAQ based on our discussions and send
some of it to DIVE labs directly that can help them further enhance
their product.

see you there
