This is my attempt at a comprehensive list of companies, organizations
and individuals offering products and services for 3D enthusiasts.
The information has come from my own research as well as contributions
from members of the "photo-3d" Internet electronic mailing list. I'm
not trying to make a profit from it, so feel free to distribute as
many copies as you like, subject to the restrictions mentioned above!

It is intended to cover only true stereoscopy -- not CAD/CAM software
that maps 3 dimensions onto 2, and the like. The list favors stereo
photography somewhat, but it is intended to include all things
stereoscopic, including holograms, single-image stereograms, 3D movies
and television, computer graphics, etc. Two exceptions: Virtual
reality systems, many of which involve stereoscopic displays, come and
go so fast these days that I can't hope to keep up with them. And
this list no longer includes stereo photography clubs. Clubs now
occupy a separate file called 3d.clubs, and probably available at the
same place where you got this list. (Look in that file for
information about how to subscribe to the "photo-3d" mailing list.)

I am always seeking new entries for the list, as well as updates to
the ones already here. I'm especially interested in correcting any
wrong information, as well as any typographical errors and badly
formatted non-U.S.A. addresses and telephone numbers. If you can
help, please send email or paper mail to one of my addresses shown
above. Thanks!

The date in parentheses at the end of each entry is the most recent date
for which I know the address was correct. For some of the older dates,
if someone can verify that the address is still valid, I'll change the date.

Text in quotation marks was provided by the provider itself. I have
attempted to keep the descriptions free of any of my own opinions.

Most of these providers will send you their products and services catalog
if you send them your address on a postcard. But many of them are quite
small and don't make much money, so it might be good to send a
self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) with your request for information.
If you are mailing from a different country, your local post office can
probably provide International Reply Coupons (IRCs) good for return
postage from the provider's country.

An asterisk (*) before a name indicates an addition or significant
modification to that entry since the previous version of this list.

The most recent version of this list can be retrieved by anonymous FTP from
this Internet site:
                        bobcat.etsu.edu (also known as 192.43.199.28)
under this file name:
                        pub/photo/photo-3d/3d.prod.serv
