CyberEvent brings CyberBuggy to United States

The CyberEvent Group has recently signed an agreement to represent
CyberFunk and their new product, CyberBuggy, in the United States.
This exciting new platform is the first virtual reality, arcade
attraction to specialize in non-violent games.

"That is one of the reasons I was attracted to it," said CyberEvent
President, David Polinchock. "Most other VR systems seem to be using
DOOM or Descent, games that involve killing things. CyberBuggy didn t
and I think that will make a difference," he adds.

In addition to the non-violent nature of the games, CyberBuggy also
uses a very unique players platform. According to Tullio Bortoletto,
President of CyberFunk "This platform represents the objectives of
CyberBuggy, a full body, kinetic experience. We didn t want to focus
on just head movements, we wanted to take advantage of all that
virtual reality has to offer."

CyberBuggy s first experience is Kaleidoscope Scooter, an exciting
adventure where you protect your notes from various note eaters, by
scaring them away. "Another exciting feature of CyberBuggy is that
the player gets to select their own music. The computer selects
tracks that fit the game parameters, but the guest can bring their own
CD. There s nothing else like this in the marketplace," adds
Polinchock.

CyberBuggy will be introduced in the United States at IAAPA, the
annual trade show for the amusement industry. After IAAPA, it will
move to a location in New York where CyberEvent will showcase it for
clients. Polinchock says "While it is an excellent arcade attraction,
CyberBuggy has also been designed for use in the promotional market,
where we do our main business. It s designed as both a game
experience and a platform that easily modified for events and
promotions. Logos can be added easily and cost effectively, and
complete custom games can be developed. I think it will have a big
impact on the promotions industry."

The CyberEvent Group will be handling distributors for the
U.S. market, both identifying and managing them after they ve signed
on. CyberEvent will also be marketing CyberBuggy in the events and
promotional business. "We ve already had interest both here in the
States and in Europe and we haven t event started marketing it yet, "
said Polinchock.

The CyberEvent Group has been producing VR events since 1992. In
addition, they have been active in bringing a number of product to
market, most notably CyberTron. In addition, they created the first,
head-mounted display theatre for use at trade shows, which won a
MARCOM Award for Best Trade Show Attraction in 1994. CyberEvent can
be reached at 718-802-9415 or by e-mail at vrevents@juno.com. Their
address is 355 Degraw Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231 # # #
