I obviously have the money, but which would get me further into VR
(espcially the actual programming side of it, not just commercial
games): an HMD (which one?) or a new PC?? I currently have a 486DX4-100.

Any help much appriciated
Andrew

I reciently discovered your newsgroup on VR 3D glasses and decided that
it would be a good chrismas present to myself.
My problem is that I dont know anything about what I should be
looking for.
It would be nice if I could use them with both my computer and
TV/VCR.
Which one is the best?
I've found two in a Tigersoftware Magazine....The PC 3-D TV...and ...
The VRSurfer, both for about $100.

BUT everyone in the newsgroup is talking about the i-glasses(I think it
was called) and others.

What do I need to know to get started?
The PC 3-D TV talks about a 3d accelerator card, do I need one of these?
What kind of games can I expect to all ready be out there whick can use
these glasses?

Does it really LOOK 3-dimentional?
Whats the advantage of using them with the TV?
Do any of them come with headphones so I can REALLY be encompased in this?

What is the price of your suggestions, and where can I buy them at the
best price?

I'm a Computer Science Engineer. What would software cost which will
allow me to write 'stuff' for use with the glasses?

OR you could just tell me where the FAQ page is located, or repost it
to the news group and I could begin with that.

Thanks for the "review".

And thanks for your time.

Nathan.
