     SUNY Plattsburgh Planning Committee for the Second Annual
     Interactive Technology in Health Education Conference

             June 12-13, 1997
             State University of New York at Plattsburgh
             Plattsburgh, NY
     ABSTRACT DEADLINE - JANUARY 31, 1997

The Conference Planning Committee is pleased to announce a "Call for
Abstracts" for our 1997 conference. The theme of the conference is:
EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES IN HEALTH EDUCATION: A CONFERENCE FOR NURSING AND
ALLIED HEALTH. You are invited to submit a 300 word abstract related to:

     1. Educational or healthcare applications of virtual reality
     technology

     2. Innovative distance learning programs for nursing and allied
     health


In addition, proposals are being accepted for reaction panelists who have
experience with educational or healthcare applications of virtual reality
or distance learning technologies . Please send curriculum vitae and a one
paragraph summary of your expertise with virtual reality or distance learning
technologies.
