The TNO-Human Factors Research Institute needs for its
research group on Workplace Ergonomics a PhD or equivalent
with a background in HUMAN PERFORMANCE and INTERACTIVE 
COMPUTER GRAPHICS.

The research group performs contract research for a variety
of clients in the field of ergonomics of technical workplaces
and the achieved performance. Virtual environments is one of
the technologies applied. Others are 3D scanning antropometry,
mockups, simulation, subject experiments, etc.

The work is carried out by a group of five investigators, sup-
ported by technical staff. The program is guided by a program 
coordinator and customer oriented. Customers have an urgent 
need to apply new technologies to improve their business and 
our goal is to achieve that. 

Applicants are expected to be fluent in Dutch, also in writing,
to have a couple of years research experience in a relevant 
field, to be able to cooperate in a multidisciplinary team 
(cognition, vision, kinesiology, ergonomics, engineering) and
to have some commercial talents. Project acquiusition and project
management are integral parts of the job.
