I would like to announce the shareware version of LCDBios (v. 1.21).
LCDBios is a universal driver used by programs to control stereoscopic
(3D) shutter glasses. It supports several commercial glasses,
including Cybershades and Simuleyes, as well as homebrew glasses, such
as Sega glasses.

Since LCDBios was just recently finished, only a few programs support
it so far. The most notable programs are Descent and Descent II. For
the 3D application developer, LCDBios offers a device-independant
approach for handling stereo image pairs.

To download LCDBios, check on the WWW at

http://www-personal.umich.edu/~dsawdai/lcdbios.html

or at a FTP site that mirrors SimTel (it will appear there soon).
The file name is "lcdb121.zip".

If you have any questions or comments on LCDBios, feel free to contact me
at dsawdai@engin.umich.edu.

Have fun in 3D!
