I've got a brochure somewhere about Firefighting training VR
simulators developed by the Southwest Research Inistitute at San
Antio, Texas. I seem to recall it was a fully immersive system and
even had olfactory input, all based around a replica of a firman's
breathing apparatus. If you need any more info., I can send you
contact details of the SRI's subsidiary in the UK, who sent me the
original brochure.
