REALITY WORLD@MULTIMEDIA will include a large exhibit area for VR
companies fro m across North America. This will be the first major

THE VR EXHIBIT & CONFERENCE

The purpose of the VR Exhibition and the Conference series is to

Canadian Multimedia and visual industries and lead the way to the next
step in the convergence of New Media to the application of 3D
real-time interactive visualization and augmented reality. This is
the first time in Canada where the market will have the opportunity to
view and experience a comprehensive range of what Virtual Reality has
to offer.

AVR has been developing the Canadian market in applied VR since 1993

Canada. There are thousands of existing companies using multimedia in
Canada with a rapid rate of growth in the corporate sector, education,
the graphics, television production, communications and commercial
photographywhich are the target audience of MULTIMEDIA . This year
MULTIMEDIA will also be hosting the membership of the Association of
Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC) Conference whose leaders and

* EXHIBITOR BENEFITS *

Exposure to the Canadian Market

AVR corporation and Multimedia Trade Shows inc. believe that the
Canadian market is ready and willing to be exposed to the potential
that VR has to offer the multimedia industry. What is needed to open
up this largely untapped market to VR application is access and
knowledge. Access to accurate and comprehensive information about
Virtual Reality and a first-hand view of what's available, what's real
and what works.

Both the Conference series and the Exhibit are meant to educate the
multimedia professional and bring the professional up to speed on VR
media. Your participation will ensure that your company and its
products are firmly established at the forefront of the Canadian
market's awareness of VR technologies and their use. Through the
inevitable convergence of multimedia, communications and Virtual
Reality, AVR and Multimedia Trade Shows inc. envision a rapid and
exponential growth in VR development and application adding Canada's
membership to the global Reality Industrial Complex as an important
contributor.

1. INTRODUCTION TO VIRTUAL REALITY (VR) *SPKR TBA*
Historically Virtual or "augmented" Reality was originally conceived by
the military for flight simulation in the 1960's. In the last few years VR
has become familiar as an entertainment medium. Today VR is on the verge of
becoming the next media for applied usage in both consumer and professional
markets. Like the computer and the telephone it promises to become the next
wave in ubiquitous technology and communications media.

This seminar will introduce the attendee to the VR media, its concepts,
technology and vocabulary.

2. VR WORLD BUILDING FOR NON-PROGRAMMERS *SPKR TBA*
What is a Virtual World? How is one constructed? Attendees will experience
the step by step process of contracting a VR world within a non-programming
environment on a PC-based platform. A point-and-click VR Toolkit will be
used to expose the essentials of world building without the complication of
programming language.

3. VRML: THE WORLD WIDE WEB IN REAL-TIME INTERACTIVE 3D

SPEAKER: Bernie Roehl & TBA
46irst there was the Internet, a text-based medium for distance
communication. Then came the World Wide Web adding a graphical interface
for text and pictures using HTML for publishing web sites. Welcome to
VRML, pronounced "vermel", (Virtual Reality Mark-up Language) poised to
transform the web into a real-time interactive, networked,
three-dimensional, distance-communications medium for personal expression,
communication, business, education and entertainment.

The significance of VRML is that it is rapidly being recognized by both the
VR and communications industry as the gateway to ubiquitous access and use
by the mass market of the Virtual Reality medium. This will likely be the
catalyst that drives the VR industry to the mainstream in the very near
future.

4. STATE OF THE GLOBAL VR INDUSTRY - TRUTH VS. "AIR WARE" (PANEL) *some
positions open*
    HOST-MODERATOR: Paul Kelman,Pres., AVR Corporation

Panel discussion by North American VR industry leaders and thinkers on the
true state of the VR industry today and where its realistically headed in
the near future. Attendees will have the opportunity of discussing issues
with the panel.

5. THE BUSINESS OF VR (PANEL) *some positions open*
HOST-MODERATOR: Paul Kelman, Pres., AVR Corporation

More and more, investors, companies and industries are starting to look at
the business opportunities presented by this new media. How will industries
like multimedia make the transition into VR? What are its applications?
Seminar on the economics of VR development, applications and use, markets,
and investment

6. VR ENTERTAINMENT: PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE *OPEN*
