VICTORMAXX TECHNOLOGIES FOCUSES ON PRODUCT MARKETING DEVELOPMENT AND
CONTINUED WORK ON CREATION OF LBE CENTERS

Virtual Reality Company Transfers Engineering Support to Pemstar

DEERFIELD, Ill. -- January 12, 1996 -- VictorMaxx Technologies, Inc.,
a leading supplier of virtual reality products, today announced that
it will focus its internal resources on product marketing
development and continued work on the creation of virtual reality
location-based entertainment centers. As its strategic direction is
further defined, VictorMaxx Technologies will transfer its product
engineering services to Pemstar, a full-service contract manufacturer
of precision electromechanical, component and flex circuit assemblies.
Pemstar has previously provided engineering services to VictorMaxx
Technologies and currently manufacturers the company's newest
head-mounted display, CyberMaxxTM 2.0.

"We are a full-service marketing group that takes the products we
design, or acquire, and target them toward virtual reality or 3D
software applications. In addition, we are focusing our energies on
the burgeoning virtual reality entertainment business," said Richard
H. Currie, president and chief executive officer of VictorMaxx
Technologies. "With that in mind, it makes sense for us to look to a
proven outside source to maximize and complement our internal
strength."

VictorMaxx Technologies will continue to market CyberMaxx 2.0 and
its new VIR One, a cordless game controller, as well as other
virtual reality products the company develops or acquires. In
addition, VictorMaxx Technologies has been aggressively developing its
proposed location-based entertainment concept, likely to be called
Autoduel Arenas, based on the popular CAR WARS line by Steve Jackson
Games.

These location-based entertainment centers will be fully themed
environments, each featuring virtual reality simulators, a snack bar,
retail merchandise areas and memorabilia from famous Autoduel characters.

The prototype installation is scheduled to open in metropolitan
Chicago in 1996.

In a related change, Kate Fagan, in her role as vice president of
sales for VictorMaxx Technologies, will assume responsibility for
international sales in addition to domestic sales. Fagan will
continue reporting to Richard Currie.

VictorMaxx Technologies, Inc. develops, markets and sells virtual
reality products for home use in connection with personal
computer-based virtual reality entertainment software. The company's
common stock and warrants are traded on the NASDAQ Small Cap Market
under the symbols VMAX and VMAXW, respectively.
