I am interested in researching devices and ideas that can be applied
to develop input interfaces that enable people to explore virtual
worlds. These input interfaces would allow a user to stand, squat,
walk, run, turn and spin naturally. The system would accept these
inputs, allowing the user to interact in the virtual environment as
naturally and intuitively as possible.

I am a graduate student at the University of Washington, and the
purpose of my research is to prepare a paper to assess the interfaces
necessary to enhance simulations applied to athletic and dismounted
infantry training.
