In response to your enquiry I did a little checking on the
subject, and the only two technologies I have seen in this area are
the force-feedback suit, which uses a wetsuit-like setup with air
bladders and a treadmill for movement, or the gyrosphere, which sets
the user in the center and allows a full range of motion. I don't
know how much a gyrosphere runs for, but I understand it is a few
thousand dollars or so.
