    Hi, for those of you interested in VRML (Virtual Reality Markup
Language), I placed some of my fossil-seashell VMRL files on my
homepage.  If you have a VRML viewer, you should be able to view and
manipulate these 3-D models over the web.  When you get to the
following web page, look for the word "VRML":
http://sprott.physics.wisc.edu/pickover/home.htm (The ~ is a tilde
symbol.)  I'd be curious to know if these can work for any of you.

    These bizarrely twisting forms actually lived during the time of
the dinosaurs.  Computer graphics helps validate the growth models
because we can compare the graphics to real fossils.
