VeRGe'ns! We're off the road and on the case again, to bring you...

"Agents, Avatars, and the Digital Self:
In Cyberspace, Who Will YOU Be?"

    WEDNESDAY, JULY 17th
    7:30 pm
    Exploratorium, San Francisco
    requested donation, $5

The Virtual Reality Education Foundation beckons you to
experience how thewizards of cyberspace will help you
represent yourself--and your lovely assistants--online.
What will you be? A human? A dolphin? A carrot? A lobster?

Following individual presentations from the chart-toppers
in cyberspace, a lively (and possibly heated) panel
discussion will take place. Invited participants include
reps from Black Sun Interactive, Onlive, OZ, and Paragraph.

In addition, VeRGe'n and Silicon Graphics BMOC David Frerichs
will demonstrate Cosmo, the new SGI VRML 2.0 browser and
authoring package.

PLUS! Hallie McConlogue from the new Silicon Valley
Institute of Art and Technology will dazzle us with her
unique AVATARial demo/performance.

THERE'S MORE....FOOD. Nutrition, or at least carbos and
sugars, will be generously provided by the industry's
leading newsletter, CyberEdge Journal.

AND (CROSSING OUR FINGERS 'n TOES), this VeRGe event will
be netcast. We will send you an updated meeting announcement
with the reflector data before the event.

Feel free to distribute this message widely.
