Human Color-Vision "spacetime" is 1+3 dimensional (3 receptor types are
responsible for the pattern formation, 1 - for its changing in time). A
standard physiological fact (the identity of the neural mechanisms of vision
and imagination in humans) makes one wonder if there is (research on) any
connection with the "purely physical" concept of spacetime, the general
concept of manifold, and, for that matter, the difficulties most humans
experience trying to visualize higher-d structures.
