The venue is: The Faculty of the Built Environment South Bank University Wandsworth Road London SW8 Tel 0171 928 8989 Directions By tube You can take either the Victoria Line or the Northern Line to Stockwell Tube Station. From here it is a short walk to the University (come out of the tube turn left and left again into Binfield Road. At the first junction turn left into Lansdowne Way. At the bottom of Lansdowne Way is the junction with Wandsworth Road and you will see the University facing you on the other side of Wandsworth Road). By British Rail Take the train to either Wandsworth Road or Vauxhaul and it is a short walk down Wandsworth Road to the University. By bus The 2, 77, and 77A go past the University along Wandsworth Road. By car You shouldn't have a problem parking on and around Wandsworth Road. When you arrive please report to the front desk where you will be asked to sign in; you will then be given directions to the meeting. Regards, Simon Bore 6.30pm Welcome, wine/refreshments: an opportunity to meet and share vr interests 6.50pm Introduction by Simon Bore information about the evenings programme group aims structure and operation 7.10pm Introduction to Themekit and their PC-based Headset/Glove configuration 7.20pm Group splits into 2. This section will last for 1 hour, each group having 1/2 an hour on each activity. Group A: try out ThemeKit demo and complete evaluation of expereince, opportunity to discuss its features/development with ThemeKit representatives. Group B: split into workable groups to tackle some of the issues raised in the introduction (aims, organisation, skills member can contribute, what members want, how often we should meet,...).
