Well, I lead the VR research team here at Cardiff's School of Psychology (UK not USA). We are currently doing a variety of VR human factors research, with our own in-house team who specialise in areas such as cognitive psychology, ergonomics, vision, workload, HCI, MMIs, engineering + computing. From time to time we advertise research jobs (usually leading to PhDs). Some of these are as Research Students and others as Research Assistants.
