DETAILS:

Don Norman, of Apple Computer Inc., will be speaking in a live and
interactive broadcast over the Internet, on 15th May 1996 at 5pm
British Summer Time (= 12 noon USA Eastern Daylight Time).  Don't miss
this unique opportunity to speak with one of the most influential
figures in the worlds of cognitive science, computing, and
human-computer interaction!

Professor Norman, widely known as the author of 'Things that Make us
Smart' and 'The Psychology of Everyday Things', is Apple Fellow and VP
in charge of Advanced Technologies at Apple Headquarters in Cupertion,
CA.

This is the latest in a series of events hosted by the Knowledge Media
Institute (KMi) of The Open University, UK.  Previous speakers were:

Richard Cogger (Cornell University)
Peter Cochrane (British Telecom)

The minimum hardware requirements are an Internet connection, sound
and a modern Web browser.  It even works via a 14.4Kbps modem.  The
Stadium utilizes RealAudio and (optionally) CU-SeeMe software, for
which further details can be obtained from the Stadium WWW Page.  So
drop by, listen, look and ask Don a question!
