Also check out OpenGVS from Gemini Technology (http://www.gemtech.com).
While not specific to VR (which is mostly interface anyway) it is
OpenGL based and runs on SGI's and PC's (check it out on the new 3Dfx
board and you'll be blown away!). Very easy to use, and powerful -
even lets you write OpenGL code from within graphics callbacks so you
can pretty much do anything you want.
