3D WEB develops SPINNER and SPINNER Pro for Windows 95 and NT with
support for Direct3D and OpenGL. Starting at $99, these 3D VRML
animation tools for the Web allow you to quickly create 3D animated
scenes with or without programming. Release date is November.

*** Minimum requirements for running SPINNER ***

SPINNER's minimum requirement are a 486 Intel processor with 8Meg of
RAM running the Microsoft Windows NT or Windows 95 operating systems.

To achieve optimum performance, run SPINNER on a Pentium or Pentium
Pro Intel processor with 16Meg of RAM. Because SPINNER supports
Direct3D and OpenGL, performance will be greatly improved with a
graphics card which support these graphics libraries. Information on
the latest releases, help file and product information for SPINNER
will be available at http://www.3dweb.com.

*** What you can do with SPINNER? ***

SPINNER lets you create your own objects from primitives or import 3D
objects. Objects you can import include:

     DXF - AutoCad by Autodesk
     OBJ - Object by Wavefront
     GEO - Geoscope by Geoscope
     SLP - Pro/Engineer by SDRC
     NFF - WorldToolKit by Sense8
     FLT - Multigen by Multigen
     VRML 2.0

You can arrange your scene any way you like, apply materials and
textures to any object in the scene and add colored lights. SPINNER
has been tested with the following VRML browsers: Cosmo Player from
SGI (vrml.sgi.com), Liquid Reality from DimensionX
(www.dimensionx.com) or Community Place (vs.sony.co.jp).

* Direct3D real-time rendering of objects for fast rendering of
objects with textures. Combined with a graphics card that support
Direct3D, SPINNER offers fast rendering of textured objects to get
your job done faster.

* OpenGL real-time rendering for fast rendering of scenes with
excellent support for materials Ability to create, edit and group
simple primitives (cube, sphere, cone, cylinder).

* Unsurpassed export capabilities for exporting your scene to VRML 2.0
with current support for primitives, facesets, materials, textures,
lights (spot, directional and point).

* Unlimited Browse and Edit views.

*Orthogonal views for easy layout of any 3D scene.

* Real-time feedback of changes in the scene, such as applying
textures or materials, or editing lights. Support for the following
textures: GIF, JPG, BMP, TGA and 26 other types. Textures can be
applied on both an object and on a per polygon basis.

* Jacks for scaling, moving, and rotating.

* Familiar tools from leading paint programs such as Marquee zoom,
marquee selection, pan, paintbrush, paintbucket, and an eye dropper.

* Familiar navigation aids from Live3D including right mouse orbit and
Ctrl keys to Look and Rotate

* Ability to delete polygons from primitives or break away parts of a
primitive (i.e., break a cone down the center) and save as new
objects.

The purpose of this closed and confidential beta program is to get
feedback on the usability of our product. This program will take time
on your part so please respond only if you feel you can devote at
least 25 hours to it. The program will begin sometime in November.
