itself as Europe's most important Virtual Reality event. 1997 promises
to be the best Virtual Reality World yet! Most noticeably, the Virtual
Reality World '97 has moved to the Messe Stuttgart International on the
Killesberg to take account of the increased space requirements of the

Virtual Reality World '97 continues to be the forum for Virtual Reality
users, system providers, application developers and researchers to
present and discuss the latest advances in this technology. This years
conference will feature another novelty -- the interactive sessions --
where a critical assessment of the successes and unreached expectations
of Virtual Reality in various applications will be carried out. For
newcomers this is an excellent opportunity to evaluate the benefits of
this technology.

1997 may well be the year when high-performance interactive 3D graphics
will start to have a significant impact in low-cost systems. 3D
applications on the Internet will be a big driving force. Therefore, the
Virtual Reality World '97 is under the theme "Virtual Reality hits the
Web", to investigate how Virtual Reality can benefit form the enormous
success of the World-Wide-Web and vice-versa.
