It's real hard to keep calm these days. Joining my family of 2-Pentium
133s, a Mac LC, and a Mac Performa, is an SGI OS that I am going to get
mid-December for my participation in our state (TEXAS) educator's
net--TENET-- Emerging Technologies Institute. I don't know the specifics of
the machine, but I do know that it has teleconferencing capabilities. We
will be getting extensive training on the machine in December and February.
Now I can get some of the SGI specific programs for my VRML building. Any
suggestions for software would be greatly appreciated.

I know that VRML isn't "true VR", but for an educator that has been doing as
much research as possible in the area and using as much on the market that
is available, the addition of this machine will be a dream come true.

I need some collaborators and/or suggestions for this new venture and any
and all help is accepted!!! My field of expertise is science and I
facilitate the Gifted and Talented in an rural (and isolated) K-12 school in
the panhandle of TEXAS. There are 14 teachers in our state will be
participating in this venture (I'm the only one that I know of that is
interested in VR and VRML). The basic impact of the workshop is in
mathematics and science.
