Fellow Travelers -

Virtual Space Devices, Inc. has invented and prototyped an
Omni-Directional Treadmill for virtual space navigation. Funding was
provided by US Army STRICOM. Currently, the unit is under evaluation
at the Land Warrior Test Bed at Ft. Benning, Georgia, for a variety of
training and simulation functions.

A commercial unit is under development. Estimated availability is 2Q
1997.
