Help me! PLEASE!!!

I have just done the hack on the Mattel Powerglove, hoping to
get a cheapo way to do some vr experimenting. Everything is wired
exactly as in the text files, so it should work.
My problem is that I think either my computer is too fast or
the software is too slow. When I hook the glove up it is detected no
problems, but trying to control it does not work at all. There is
basic side to side movement, although it is extremely limited. The
fingers do not work at all, as with the roll and distance sensing.
My printer port is bi-directional, and I have tested the
system on an old 386 I have, so I know that it works perfectly.

Has anyone out there had this problem, and what is the work
around for it? Please let me know, this is driving me crazy!

Thanks

Adam
