A couple of things that Sean Varney forgot to say...

The MASSIVE event will take place at the Broadway Media Centre,
Nottingham, UK at 7pm Sunday 10th November as part of the NOW ninety6
festival of contemporary arts. Tickets are 5 pounds (NOT 35 pounds).

The event will consist of a multi-user virtual reality performance
where both audience and performer have a virtual presence in a shared
virtual space. The performers will be poets from Chocolate Art - Remi
Abbas, Roger Robinson and Akure Wall and Nottingham's David "Stickman"
Higgins.

There will be two audiences; one in the Cafebar who can interact with
the performers in virtual reality using a desktop VR interface; the
other will watch the poets live, with the VR environment projected
behind them.

The MASSSIVE event is a collaboration between Nottingham City Council,
members of the Communications Research Group at the University of
Nottingham (VR software and technical support) and Sean Varney (world
design).
