Brandon - yes, such things are possible, and not terribly difficult I think.

There are two levels through which you could do it with our VR software: by
programming C extensions which you then compile into a dVISE executable
and which then call directly into your own software for hot links and control
information; or you can use our DCI interface to send messages between a
running dVISE application (no programming required on this end) and your
existing code which actually controls the equipment.
