The open standards for Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) are
being established through a collaborative decision-making process
based on ongoing dialogues among those most involved in VRML's growth
and development. The Working Group system enables VRML developers and
other concerned parties to identify aspects of VRML they feel deserve
special attention and discuss them collectively. It's a great way to
be involved in VRML's development even if you or your company isnšt
part of the VRML Consortium.

To find out more about the VRML Working Groups, please read the new
feature article at Silicon Graphics' vrml.sgi.com site, available
directly at:
                  http://vrml.sgi.com/features/

This article has information on all currently existing and proposed
Working Groups, as well as profiles of five chairs of working groups
hashing out issues ranging from user interfaces to the integration of Java
into the VRML spec. From there, you can read other feature articles on
VRML or access the rest of the information at http://vrml.sgi.com
including the largest archive of virtual worlds on the net.
