I wrote code that handles glove timing on everything from 286 to Pentium
Computers.
Seriously! I'm still not sure how I got "out of the loop" with the
Power Glove
stuff. There is a ton of information on my web page about the glove.

I will be placing most of the code there soon. (The objglv.zip is a
dead link
but not for long). It has a long painful history as many know. But it
saddens
me most to see that no one finds the information I have gathered when
they
first get involved with this.

John, please make sure you at least mention this "Object Glove" stuff on
the
FAQ. It broke barries on many fronts. It supports two gloves
simultaneously.
It supports real time gesture recognition. (Not the best system in the
world,
but better than the original Rend386 system). It works in DOS and
Windows...

Then it died (that is to say, I don't
think anyone is actively working with it anymore.)

A high school student used it to win second place in a national science
fair
convention, i think that was a year ago?
