VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) makes online 3D graphics and
animation possible, and some of the most creative minds on the Internet
are exploring the possibilities that it has to offer. New "virtual worlds"
are being created every week, and many of the best are gathered together
at one site -- the VRML Gallery at Silicon Graphic's VRML.SGI.COM, a
leading online resource for VRML info, news, and tips.

Here are some of the most recent virtual worlds added to the VRML Gallery:

OceanWalk -- A magical underwater adventure from Japan.

Atom Visualization -- 3D modelling in the name of science, created at
                         Darmstadt University

Bird -- Mark Meadows of Constructıs VRML narrative sequel to his
           award-winning "Crutch"

   ...and more!

In order to properly view virtual worlds, you will need a VRML browser,
which works as a helper application in conjunction with your usual web
browser. If you do not have a VRML browser, you can download a free copy
of SGI's Cosmo Player from the link at the Gallery's home page.

The VRML Gallery is located at the following URL: http://vrml.sgi.com/worlds/
