Sense8 is looking for a Multimedia Designer to create, maintain, and preserve multimedia content including web, image, audio and video elements. The Multimedia Designer actively participates in creating high quality 2D and 3D visuals for custom-designed, real-time, 3D interactive, computer-generated environments. Position Responsibilities Create WWW pages for corporate WWW site and multimedia CD-ROM Facilitate development of demo applications to showcase our products Record videos of applications in both digital and analog formats. Prepare video tapes of predetermined or custom content. Create animations from existing imagery or video sources. Create realistic 3D computer models (geometry) for real-time environments. Create 2D texture maps for application to the 3D computer models. Maintain an internal database of models and images for archival purposes. Maintain an accessible archive of existing audio and video clips in both digital and analog format. Position Requirements BFA or BSCS, equivalent degree, or equivalent job experience required. Requires 2+ years experience as a multimedia designer and/or 3D Modeler creating 3D computer geometry and associated textures. Requires Web design and layout experience. Thorough understanding of video and audio devices, formats and uses. Thorough understanding of digital non-linear editing systems for PC workstations, computer video boards and cabling. Previous experience with 3D computer modeling for real-time environments, and 2D texture creation methods. 3DStudio, 3DStudio Max, SoftImage, Wavefront or Alias experience required. Knowledge of PhotoShop or equivalent image manipulation package required.
