The results for the first week are in...

        Editor's Choice: Sandy Ressler's "Landmarks of the Head"

        People's Choice: Paul S. Hoffman's "Terraforming Mars"

Congrats to both!


For week two, the contestants are:


<paraindent><param>out</param>* Nebular Nomad II -- one of a series of
deep-space exploration ships.

* Ship Motion Simulation -- VRML illustrates a methodology by which
design hydrodynamic loads may be computed and visualized.

* Moteq -- a VRML/Java music generator where multiple entities are born,
collide, die, and mate.

* Meme-ing -- Constructs and Meme-ing is an essay in which its core
arguments are presented not as text but as a series of virtual spaces.

* Assassins -- a scenic design for Steven Sondheim's "Assassins" was
shared by directors, producers and designers during preproduction of this
famous play.
