Hello folks...

Thanks/Danke, Tim Zimmermann, for recommending my book *Garage Virtual
Reality* to Karem. The publisher SAMS/Macmillan has decided to stop
publishing the book (computer books have a relatively short "shelf
life," and this book pre-dates the Web!). If you are unable to locate
a copy, please contact me because I have a few copies that I will sell
at cover price plus postage.

Please e-mail me directly <lindaj@sgi.com> if you cannot find *Garage
Virtual Reality* but would like to buy a copy.

[My first book, *CyberArts: Exploring Art & Technology*, is still in
print and might interest those of you who are relatively new to the
virtual worlds scene, check out the Table of Contents at
http://www.mfi.com/mf-books/CyberArts.html].

Happy holidays to all of you virtual environmentalists,
Linda Jacobson
