I am working on an article about the changes in assited living
facilities for seniors.  Our thesis is that when the babyboomers are
of age to need the services of an assisted living facility, virtual
reality will become an important component in keeping this active
generation mentally stimulated.

 People may be too frail to participate in sports such as golf,
skiing, and snowboarding, but they will still need the mental
stimulation that these activities provide.

I am wondering if there are any applications for virtual reality in
the senior market now?  Is our thesis correct, and how can VR be
integrated into assisted living facilities?  Will it be cost
effective?
