Hi all,

You would do me a big favor if you could tell me what are the
current standard parallel protocols in use in today's VR systems. I
have heard of PVM (parallel virtual machines). From what I've been
told, it's pretty inadequate to real time VR applications due to its
poor speed performances.

I'm asking you, VR people who design VR worlds using networked
workstations, to tell me what you use. Do you use in-house, custom
made APIs or do you use any kind of already established
standards. Please specify on which platform you design these systems
as well.

Thanks to all of you who will take time to answer this.

Regards
