As in previous issues ('89, '91, '93 and '95), EPIA'97 will be run as an international conference, English being the official language. The scientific program encompasses tutorials, invited lectures, parallel workshops, and paper presentations. Eight well-known researchers will present invited lectures and tutorials. ELECTRONIC ABSTRACT In addition to submitting the paper copies, authors should send a short (200 words) electronic abstract of their paper to aid the reviewing process. Each paper will be cross-reviewed by three referees. Papers will be subject to blind peer review: reviewers will not be aware of the identities of the authors. Submitted papers must report original and previously unpublished work.
